TagaSweet™ Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup TagaSweet™
- 1/4 cup brown TagaSweet™ (or a mix of TagaSweet™ and a bit of molasses for flavor)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and TagaSweet™: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, tagasweet™, and brown tagasweet™ until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs and Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix Together: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop Dough: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. The centers may appear slightly underbaked, which is fine as they will continue to set.
- Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
